What is aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is usually defined as the use of essential oils for medical purposes.
Essential oils are volatile odorous substances produced by certain plants and can be extracted as a liquid by steam distillation of aromatic plants (leaves, flowers, bark, seeds, stems, etc.). Although they are called oils, these substances do not contain any fats.
